Biography

I’m a singer/songwriter whose style has curated a new genre of music called ESP (Electro Soul Pop).
I was the frontman of the funk-soul band YY and the electropop band BLINDT and played with these bands not only in Germany but also in Europe. Due to a racist attack and its consequences, I had to take a break for six years. Now I have resumed my solo career with upbeat electro beats, soul vocals and pop melodies. During the summer I wrote many new songs and also performed live again at various concerts with my own music. The summer highlight was my performance at the “Stop right-wing extremism” demonstration in Berlin at the Siegessäule in front of 30k people. I only performed my own songs there, but also sang together with Frank Dellé from Seeed.
I honed my skills at Dellos Performing Arts School, L.A. County High School for the Arts, and Berklee College of Music. I was a Lost Boy in Steven Spielberg’s “Hook” and my first leading role was in “The Key” with Gedeon Burkhard and Sven Martinek. I have performed in various capacities, such as L.A. Opera’s “Journey to Cordoba”, Fritz Radio’s “Unsigned” show and Glastonbury’s Elemental Tent.
With a repertoire ranging from musical theater, opera, and jazz to gospel, soul, and pop, my talent has taken me around the world to perform in countries such as Russia, South Africa, Namibia, Slovakia, Poland, and Mexico. I’ve had the pleasure of sharing the studio and stage with Helene Fisher, Luis Fonsi, Nico Santos, Frank Dellé from Seeed, Imagine Dragons, Circus HalliGalli (Joko and Klass), Emile Sande, and Grammy award-winning Hip Hop violinist, Miri Ben Ari. I have performed with LA Opera and been featured in Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey II voice), Dido and Aeneas opera, and many other musical theater productions. I have also appeared before American Ambassador to Germany Amy Gutmann and various other US Consulates to Germany. In 1990, I performed for Japan’s Prime Minister Toshiki Kaifu and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev with Brooke Shields in Tokyo, and just this year Germany’s Minister of Culture, Claudia Roth.
As an accomplished music educator, I’ve served as Head of Band Performance at Bimm University Berlin and received my Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning and a Master of Arts in Music Entrepreneurship. I am currently pursuing my PhD in participatory songwriting performance. Together with my manager Carli Hameder we are building up my new international career. With our application, we were recently selected by the Muiscboard Berlin to participate at “Berlin Outbound – International Pop Exchange”.
Having had to endure and fight through my injuries due to the racist attack, I am finally returning to my solo career and starting to release new music every month starting January 2025.
My new message is one of joy, peace, hope and love and I am ready to spread it on stage, not only in Germany but also in Europe and the rest of the world.
