Oke (LU)

Biography

Born in Nigeria and based in Luxembourg, Oke blends African soul, contemporary pop, and electronic influences into a sound that moves fluidly between rhythm, emotion, and cinematic expression. Rooted in his Yoruba heritage and shaped by his European upbringing, his music explores identity, confidence, and transformation through the ALTER-EGO universe, a multi-persona concept where each character reveals a different side of his artistry.

Since launching his solo project in 2017, Oke has released over 35 tracks and established himself as one of Luxembourg’s most forward-looking independent artists. His work has led to collaborations with international labels, a publishing deal with Downtown Music Publishing, and growing support from tastemakers across radio, media, and live circuits in Europe and Africa. He has performed at key industry platforms including Africa Rising Music Conference (Johannesburg), Bushfire Festival (Eswatini), and European Emerging Bands (Strasbourg).

Oke is currently preparing the release of his ALTER-EGO EP (February 20, 2026), followed by his debut album in March/April 2027. His live performances translate this world into a confident, groove-led experience, positioning him as an artist connecting heritage, innovation, and contemporary global pop culture.
