Biography

Nicole DV (2002) is a Dutch singer-songwriter with Dutch and Costa Rican roots.

She makes hip hop and trap with influences from R&B. She writes about experiences she has experienced herself, in Dutch, English and Spanish. They are realistic texts from the heart.

She writes about heartbreak, disappointment, loneliness, fake friends and learning to love yourself. Nicole DV hopes to support people with her music and give them the feeling that they are not alone. From there her EP Unbreakable was released. She has also released two other singles.

This artist goes for quality music. She finds communication very important and a good connection with the producer or co-writer. She likes to hear hard and enough kick in the beats and piano with emotion. She likes it on the grit, but off-beat is also possible as long as the whole thing is right.

Nicole DV’s plans are to further develop herself in different genres, such as Latin urban, R&B and much more.
She teaches piano, guitar and drums. She also tries to make production her own.

Ever since she was a little girl, Nicole DV thought singing was something beautiful. She took singing lessons for three years and piano for one year. Started writing lyrics at the age of fifteen and singing on stage at the age of sixteen. At the age of seventeen she released her first single, which is when her music career started to take off.

Nicole DV had a tough year at the age of eighteen. She noticed that music was her only support and friend. That year brought her even closer to music and she has no intention of letting it go. After this experience, she hopes to continue to learn music in different ways and to be a stronger woman.
