Biography

Kamaria Sarai is a R&B/Neo Soul Singer/Songwriter from Long Island, New York. Kamaria began singing at the age of seven in church. Kamaria’s parents who are Jamaican & Haitian descent played a huge role, in introducing the melodic sounds of soul, jazz, hip hop & R&B music to her. Her inspirations are by singers such as: Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill & Brandy. Kamaria has decided to take her gifts by storm!

Kamaria has been hands on with her music career from the start, but in 2016, due to severe respiratory health reasons, & a few other health scares, music was put on hold for a few years. Fully recovering from everything that occurred in 2016, & having her son Heruquinn, Kamaria realized she’d been given another chance to walk in her purpose. Since then, Kamaria has worked with Dj Mathematics from Wu Tang Clan and Zel Omar. Kamaria dropped her first EP “On Purpose” In November Of 2022, Produced by Dj Monay , D.V Alias Khryst & Guaranteed Hitz. “You grow with the experiences and hard work, it makes you prepared for anything, It’s not easy getting your self across the country to make sure people hear your music!” She said.
Kamaria has been seen performing, in King Of Diamonds in Miami during Rolling Loud weekend. She realized that no matter the capacity of any venue, she could rock any crowd she’s in front of. Outside of Miami, Kamaria has performed in city’s , such as Los Angeles,CA for Grammy’s weekend, & B.E.T Awards weekend, where she was able to attend the award show. From New York, to San Diego, CA, to Austin,Texas for SXSW, from Washington D.C to the U.K, Kamaria is just getting started, and is stopping at nothing to make sure she lives out her dream of being a singer.
