Biography

Meet Joella T, a talented 26-year-old artist from Nijmegen. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of zouk, gospel, and dancehall, he quickly discovered his passion for hip-hop. Inspired by legends like Lil Wayne, Young Thug, and Dutch artists such as Keizer, Cho, and Ronnie Flex, he started writing raps at a young age.

His music career began in local youth centers, where he recorded his first tracks in their studios. Wanting to take things further, Joella invested his savings into building his own home studio setup. Today, he mainly creates rap, drill, and trap music, but he’s also unafraid to experiment with other sounds such as R&B, pop, afro, and techno.

What truly sets Joella apart is his technical skill as a rapper. He effortlessly delivers sharp bars and punchlines that make his music stand out. At the same time, he wants to spread an important message: you don’t have to come from the streets to make music. He wants to show that anyone can chase their dreams, no matter where they come from.
