Biography
de Chief is a self-taught rapper from the 0316, a small village near Arnhem, stationed in Rotterdam since about eight years.
As a true student of the game, Chief’s focus lays completely on originality, penmanship and personality. He draws inspiration from artists like Method Man, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, 50 Cent and Eminem, by analyzing their skillset and making it his own. This is how de Chief was born.
Chief is a silent, lonely leader who thrives off the night, a joint for focus (or distraction) combined with raw, gritty bars mixed with catchy flows and hooks.
Creating a sound that hasn’t been heard before takes time, as does greatness. Years of preparation has led to Chief stepping out and making himself ready for a complete take over.
