Biography

Bernadette Pires is a Rotterdam Cape Verdean singer-songwriter. Her music is a combination of soul and jazz. Her roots are in Cape Verde and you can hear that in the warm sounds in her voice. Bernadette has released 3 singles and her EP will be released ‘You and I’ on March 31, 2024. Jazz singer José James (USA), known from many jazz festivals around the world, including the North Sea Jazz Festival here in Rotterdam, supported Bernadette in recording this EP.
