Biography

Amby Cheneylise translates personal experiences through Rhythm, Art & Poetry (RAP). Her sound is boom bap with neosoul funky melodies. Earthly experiences and deep astral journeys alternate within the lyrics. The lyrics about self-love, identity development and her vision on society form the basic ingredients of her tracks. In April ’23, she released her debut album called Binnenreis, translating ‘The journey inward’. The album is a reflection for anyone struggling with self-love, loneliness and self-acceptance. Amby is known for her different flows and manages to make vulnerable and spiritual topics comprehensible through her music. In her performance she is accompanied by Zoe de Jong, who is a singer/songwriter. She adds jazzy and funky melodies to the tracks to create a even more wholesome experience for the listener.
