First Artists Announced for New Skool Rules 2020 edition

Epitome Entertainment is excited to announce the first artists & that will be featured in the 8th edition of New Skool Rules. The 3 day international Urban Music Conference, the largest one of its kind worldwide, will feature performers & speakers from over 25 countries in the world. The 8th edition of New Skool Rules will take place May 29th – May 31st in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Rotterdam, the city, that is also hosting the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, will be the center of the Urban Music Industry, for 3 days once again. 

“ We’ve been blown away by the more than 500 acts that applied this year, to play  at New Skool Rules. Obviously we couldn’t pick everybody, but we picked a nice mix of different genres & different performers from different countries. People will be able to check out more than 160 performances, in over 10 locations throughout the  city. Can’t wait to see which act, blows up after this edition”; says C.E.O. of Epitome Entertainment Henca Maduro.

During New Skool Rules, you can see some of the hottest talent from around the globe in all urban genres. Expect to see HipHop and R&B, as well as Soul and Afrobeats, but don’t be surprised when you see Dancehall & Reggae performances. New Skool Rules is programming established artists from different countries as well as up & coming talent and known artists from the Netherlands. New Skool Rules showcases tomorrow’s stars today. 

The latest artist to blow up, from New Skool Rules and the Exchange programme is the Dutch artist Nicole Bus, who signed to Roc Nation, after grammy Award Winning Producer Needlz discovered her during the New Skool Rules Auditions in Amsterdam. Nicole and other talents were flown out to Needlz’s Recording studio in Atlanta for a writerscamp. Needlz believed in Nicole so much, he continued to work with her until he got her signed to Roc Nation. In 2019 she graced the top of the Billboard R&B charts for 5 weeks.
