Biography

Matt Bonilla is a multi-faceted music industry professional, educator, and programmer based in Rotterdam. Currently serving as the Head of Program at Stichting CULT North, Matt leverages his extensive background as a performer and producer to bridge the gap between emerging talent and the professional industry.

Studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory, Matt’s foundation in music theory and performance informs his diverse roles as a booker, event planner, and production lead. He is the founder of Future Sounds 010, a music school dedicated to artist development, and the driving force behind Pure Love, a platform specializing in the curation and promotion of R&B, Neo-soul, and Neo-hip hop.

With a deep commitment to social impact, Matt extends his expertise beyond the stage and studio, working as a coach and teacher within schools and youth detention centers. His work focuses on using music as a tool for empowerment and professional growth. Whether he is scouting the next generation of talent or managing large-scale productions, Matt’s bilingual background (Spanish, Papiamentu, Dutch, and English) and international perspective allow him to foster inclusive, vibrant creative communities.
