Niels Hoogland (NL)
Biography
Niels Hoogland is a media coach and radio strategist with nearly 30 years of experience across the Dutch audio industry. He has worked in almost every creative and editorial role in radio, including DJ, producer, voice-over, music director, program director and station manager. His career spans both commercial and public broadcasting, with senior positions at Radio 538, Radio Veronica, Radio 10 and NPO FunX. He also developed Juize into a pioneering hip-hop and R&B brand, later expanding it into the online station Juize.FM, and helped build MyRadio as an interactive radio platform.
Today, Niels works as an independent coach, consultant and presenter, combining talent coaching, format development, music programming and strategic advice. His focus is on helping media brands, management teams and on-air personalities build stronger formats, sharper identities and more meaningful relationships with their audiences. His approach brings together creativity and intuition with research and analysis: the art and the science of successful media.
