Toronto-based vocalist/emcee/songwriter ‘Ice Tha One’ goes all in. With roots based in r&b, soul and hip-hop Ice delivers raw lyricism with a smooth melody. Always repping the east side of her city Ice continues to create innovative music that keeps listeners wanting more. ‘In The Paint’ was a dynamic record that showcased her ‘no holds barred’ demeanour which continues to draw audiences to live performances while Ice’s magnetic and unapologetic energy fuels the crowd.

Her latest full album ‘MONSTAR’ is an electrifying collaboration with renowned producer HeyBombay, laced with luscious horn arrangements from Octavio N. Santos and Anthony Rinaldi. Ice also collaborated on Junia-T’s ‘Studio Monk Deluxe’ LP on a track entitled ‘EstSde’ which is making traction internationally, including an album nomination for The Polaris Music Prize.

She has charted nationally, several times via Earshot Canadian Radio for her last two albums. Recent attention from CBC’s ‘Strombo’ show and ‘The Block’ have made singles like ‘GoGo’ and ‘Albany’ instant classics. Opening for acts such as ONYX, Talib Kweli, Ghost Face, Snak The Ripper, Merkules, Fresh Kils, Junia-T, Coolzey, Farout Rhymes, MURS etc. makes Ice Tha One an undeniable force, blazing trails sonically by fusing genres, taking risks and pushing musical boundaries. The highly anticipated ‘MONSTAR’ Deluxe LP is set to roll out February 2024.
