Biography

Natalie is senior management at FOCUS Wales, an international multi-venue, multi genre showcase festival taking place in Wrexham, North Wales, which places the music industry spotlight firmly on the emerging talent that Wales has to offer the world. This has led Natalie into many behind the scenes roles within the Welsh music industry working for the BBC and Arts Council amongst others in the sector, particularly as part of judging panels awarding potentially large sums of money to up and coming bands and artists who apply for project funding through these bodies. Natalie also works for Independent Venue Week, an annual 7 day celebration which allows artists, audiences and the wider music business to recognise the vital role these hundreds of independent-owned venues play in the industry and local community across England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland.
