Biography

Maulo is a fast-rising UK afrobeats artist & songwriter . With millions of streams already under his belt, and support from tastemakers such as GQ, Notion, Wonderland, Capital Xtra and GRM Daily, Maulo is coming into his own as one of the most exciting new afrobeats voices in the UK.
With an upcoming EP & debut headline show in 2023, Maulo is set to continue building a buzz off the back of late 2022 single ‘Roll It’ which was supported by BBC Radio 1, Kiss Fresh, Apple Music & used as a soundtrack in BBC Sport Qatar World Cup coverage.
Previous single ‘Ambition’ was the ring walk song that British boxing sensation Anthony Joshua walked out to in Sept 2021, in front of over 60,000 people. ‘Ambition’ which Maulo created in collaboration with Under Armour, charted at #3 on Shazam across the world, has seen Maulo garner acclaim and rave reviews from the likes of GQ, Capital Xtra, Sky Sports, and feature in the official 2021 JD Sports Christmas Ad.
