Kryptik (SCH)

Biography

Paisley-based emcee, producer/DJ, beatboxer and graffiti artist. With over 20 years experience in all aspects of Hiphop, Kryptik is no stranger to the stage. After 10 years of beatboxing, DJing and running DNB events, he turned his hand to writing and within his first year, was booked to perform at the Solar Eclipse Festival 2012 (AU). In 2015 he released his debut album and with his signature hooks and infectious stage presence, went on to tour the UK, sharing stages with both local and international legends from Skinnyman, Ocean Wisdom and The Four Owls to The Sugarhill Gang. The covid hiatus has seen him come back hungrier than ever, supporting the likes of RA the Ruggedman, Fly Anakin, Marlowe and recently went international again, for ‘New Skool Rules’ (NL). In 2019 he was nominated for a Scottish Alternative Music Award and since then, has had countless plays on national radio, won many more awards and also made national news twice, in the Scottish Daily Record. He is a natural performing artist and leaves a memorable impression wherever he goes.
