Biography

Ssekitoleko Joram aka Jora Mc is a Ugandan recording and performing hiphop artist, rap mu- sician, bboy, event host and organizer based in the country’s capital, Kampala. Jora stands for art as a voice of community and self-expression, music as a tool for unity and is a man that belongs in this world to serve a purpose. Representing people and advocating to finding solutions to community issues inspires his hip hop music.

Jora MC performs locally, such as at Nyege Nyege festival, Bayimba festival, We love Uganda festival. And internationally, such as Goma Dance festival in Congo, Imagine festival and UNITE Antifascist rap days in Switzerland, Jibirika Fest Anniversary Harare in Zimbabwe and Amsterdam Roots Festival in Netherlands. He is often travelling around Europe and planning to be back in May 2023 to introduce even more people to his music. You can expect a mix of hip hop and afro rap.
