Biography

HMD is vocalist/producer raised in Manchester, by way of Denmark who’s experiences and heritage have shaped his music. Born into a clan renowned for its poets and storytellers, genetics go some way in explaining HMD’s lyrical prowess. His music explores identity, love and loss through a sonic lens moulded by his formative years spent listening to HipHop, R&B, Disco, Soul which all are evident in his music. HMD’s succeses include streams reaching more than a one million, performing at Reading and Leeds festival and being described “as one of Manchester’s most intelligent vocalists” MCR Finest
