Biography

Christopher “Deep” Henderson is a Grammy Award winning songwriter and music producer whose hits include Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It” and “Happily Ever After” by Case. In a career spanning 17 years, this 3 time ASCAP Award recipient has worked on several gold, platinum & multi platinum projects for the likes of R. Kelly, Trey Songz, G. Unit (50 Cent), Mya, and many more. He was listed among Billboard Magazine’s Top 5 Hot Hiphop/R&B Producers of 2009 and even charted a decade before among Billboard Magazine’s Top 20 Hot Hiphop/R&B Producers of 1999.

Born and raised in the Detroit area, Christopher officially started his music career in Hampton Virginia with some guidance and exposure from Teddy Riley. He now resides in the Atlanta area where is owns and runs Deep Productions, Deep Recording House Studios and his publishing company which is partnered with Sony ATV.

An active voting member in the Grammy Association (NARAS), Christopher regularly hosts and participates in songwriter producer workshops for various community organizations and charities. He is currently developing a tutorial web series “SongBuilders”, designed to educate and entertain while introducing new music, professional insights, tools & techniques. Upcoming projects include Jacob Latimore’s latest lp “Connection” and Interscope Record’s new R&B sensation Wash.
