Biography

Recording Artist and Producer Astin Clark is on the road to becoming Canada’s next Hip Hop icon.

Born in Barrie Ontario on January 30th, 1992, Astin was raised by his parents and 3 older brothers in the north side of the city. At the age of 10 Astin began playing the guitar and writing songs. Several years later he would follow in the footsteps of his older brother and cousin who were apart of a local Hip Hop trio called The First Kings Family.

From 2008 to 2016 Astin released music and performed under his original stage name Urban Havoc, dropping several mixtapes and opening for artists such as Redman & Method Man, Lloyd Banks, Twista, Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch and Classified.

In early 2016 Astin began writing a song titled Tonight. The track would birth his rebranding and lead to him signing with Atwell Music. In June of 2017, Astin released his debut album titled Love & Self Loathing. Several months later, the instrumental for his lead single Best Friends was licensed by Coca Cola and used in a Sprite Ad featuring Lebron James.

Since then, Astin has been touring and the licensing deal now plays across all Canada, the United States and the South Pacific.
